Noise or vibration monitoring and assessment

At Healthy Buildings we have over 14 years experience in environmental noise and vibration monitoring. We can monitor over the short and long term and provide a detailed assessment of mitigation strategies. 

Planning Application support

Our environmental noise and vibration assessments can be provided in the form of Noise and Vibration Impact Assessments suitable for submission with Planning Applications and Environmental Impact Assessments.

3D noise modelling of noise

Using industry-standard software, we can build 3D models of external noise from air, road, or rail traffic, industrial or commercial facilities. These models calculate noise levels generated by these sources and predict levels at the facades of new or existing buildings or in sensitive external spaces such as gardens. Using the results of the models, we can determine any requirements for noise attenuation and screening. 

Noise nuisance issues/neighbour complaints
