At The Science of Healthy Buildings, we have PhD-level knowledge and experience in indoor air quality (IAQ) assessment. IAQ is a complex topic that is not very well understood but has serious health and wellbeing implications.
Some of the ways in which our team can help you understand and improve the IAQ in your building are:
Desktop assessment of air pollution risks
Without the need for extensive monitoring, and armed with some detail about your building location, type, and activities, we can provide a technical report detailing potential air pollution risks to your occupants, along with proposed mitigation strategies.
IAQ management plans
With a comprehensive assessment of both external air pollutants and those generated inside your building, we can provide a management plan for identifying, quantifying and reducing the impact of air pollution on your internal environment.
Air quality monitoring
Our team can facilitate monitoring of air pollution both internally and external to your building, by conducting both spot measurements of highly toxic pollutants and/or longer-term monitoring of gases or particulates.
Planning Application support and Environmental Impact Assessment
We are qualified to distill the air quality assessment for your building into technical reports suitable for submission with either a Planning Application or Environmental Impact Assessment, and we can provide expert witness consultancy.
